The Nook - Spacious Lakeland Cottage, Dog Friendly

Enjoyable, restful, peaceful, & was lovely for a 3 night break. Positive: We loved the interior of the cottage & quirky design with 2 lounges. The AGA provided a very cosy environment in the kitchen/diner. The Courtyard garden was also very pleasant in the lovely late April sunshine. Negative: The nook was located on quite a busy road, this could prove difficult with prams, dogs, & bags. The parking was adequate but away from the Nook especially when unloading & loading.

A perfect base to explore the Lakes Positive: The house was beautiful, cosy and really well equipped. Clare was super helpful and we felt very welcome. Negative: Unfortunately, we did experience a problem with the WiFi after some wild weather.

Positive: Lovely cosy cottage. I loved the log burners and the arga lovely bedrooms brilliant. Negative: We were a bit unfortunate they had road works at the bottom of the road from 10 Clock at night one night, so it was a bit noisy and I had to move my car and park a 10 minute walk that's about my luck but obviously road works need doing.

Lovely stay, beautiful cottage Positive: Lovely spacious and comfortable. Everything you could need. Negative: We arrived quite late and expected maybe a little milk in the fridge but had to go back out to buy some. There’s not many shops near by so be prepared for this prior to your arrival

Perfect relaxing stay Positive: The property was spotless when we arrived. The AGA kept the property lovely and cozy. The decor is very tasteful and in keeping with the type of property. For us it was the perfect location with wonderful views. Negative: Nothing
